North West law firm Farleys Solicitors has announced it is to support five local charities through collections of vital items from its offices in Blackburn, Preston, Manchester, Burnley and Accrington.

Blackburn Offices to Support Nightsafe

Farleys’ offices on Richmond Terrace and Shadsworth Business Park will be collecting non-perishable food, gifts and warm clothing for Blackburn charity Nightsafe. Nightsafe support homeless and vulnerable people in Blackburn with Darwen between the ages of 16 and 24.

Preston Office to Support The Foxton Centre

Farleys’ staff on Winckley Square will be supporting The Foxton Centre in Preston who provide support for rough sleepers, street sex workers, and young people facing problems with poverty, addiction, and mental health issues. The team will be collecting non-perishable food, toiletries, hats, scarves and gloves.

Manchester Office to Support The Mustard Tree

From their base at 196 Deansgate, Farleys’ Manchester office will be collecting boxes of chocolates in support of The Mustard Tree’s Christmas campaign. The Mustard Tree supports homeless people and those in poverty in Manchester through friendship, practical support, and connections into work.

Burnley Office to Support Emmaus

The Farleys’ team over in Burnley will be collecting items including non-perishable food in aid of Emmaus. Emmaus Burnley supports people who have experienced homelessness by providing them with a home, companionship, stability, personal support and an opportunity to progress.

Accrington Office to Support Lancashire Women’s Centre

Lancashire Women’s Centre offers support to women across the county on mental health and wellbeing, employment and skills support, money, benefits and debt advice, and justice and safety.

Reta Rose, marketing manager at Farleys and trustee of the Farleys’ Foundation explained,

“Last year, we did a similar collection for local charities and received such a great response that we have decided to do it again this year.

“The charities we have chosen are all fantastic causes supporting local people; something we as a firm are hugely passionate about.

“As Christmas is the time for giving, we hope everyone will join us in donating what they can to support those less fortunate.”

Farleys’ Christmas collections will run from Monday 25th November until Friday 13th December 2019. If you wish to make a donation, it can be dropped off at any Farleys office reception at the following addresses:
