A Preston based marketing expert who has worked in partnership with seoBusiness for more than a decade has launched a new podcast to help the next generation get ahead in the industry.

Ana Rogerson is a marketing professional turned entrepreneur with over 13 years of marketing experience.

Her journey within the marketing realm commenced in 2010, progressing through various roles such as marketing director and head of EMEA marketing for UK and US software companies. Throughout her career, she has undertaken diverse responsibilities within marketing departments gaining a comprehensive skill set and a nuanced understanding of the field.

We first met Ana in 2011, and since then she has come to think of us as her “go-to SEO agency”. We have worked together on SEO and website development projects for local as well as international companies.

Now Ana has launched a new podcast and we’re thrilled to have been a sponsor since the very first episode.

Ana says: “As a marketing novice, I had to navigate the complex world of marketing on my own. I missed the guidance of a more experienced marketer until I joined a larger company with a marketing department.

“I also felt that, though I’ve studied marketing at both undergraduate and graduate level, once out of university, I lacked many of the practical skills required on the job and the understanding of what a marketing role actually entailed.

“Now, I want to give back and be the voice of experience for those who are or will be in the same position as myself at the start of their careers. I think few things in life are as fulfilling as helping people succeed.”

The podcast aims to inform, encourage and counsel aspiring and struggling marketers (students, graduates or marketers who are out of a job or feeling stuck and unhappy in their current roles) with the help of guests and sponsors animated by the same desire.

The goal is to offer fresh perspectives to marketers and to encourage the current and next generation of marketers.

The Your Marketing Big Sister podcast is now available to hear through all the usual channels and via Ana’s own website: https://www.anarogerson.com/podcast
