Exciting developments for F&W with acquisition of Alan R Jones & Sons Ltd

Following discussions that have taken place over the last few months between the team here at Fagan & Whalley and the management team at Newport, South Wales based logistics company Alan R Jones & Sons Ltd., we’re excited to announce that our acquisition of the company has now been completed! 

The acquisition will bring with it increased potential for further development, with a fleet of 39 commercial vehicles, 40,000 sq. ft. of warehousing space, and a strategically located distribution depot in Newport, South Wales, all contributing to our existing operations, expanding our service offering and adding value to both sets of customers. 

As a company which operates with a people-first approach, valuing our team is a core element of our company philosophy. With no initial plans to make any changes to services currently being offered by both companies, our priority in these early stages is being placed on ensuring teams across both organisations continue to receive the support they need to continue working effectively, and that customers of both Fagan & Whalley and Alan R Jones & Sons continue to receive an excellent level of service, tailored to their individual needs. 

“Following a period of significant growth and development, we saw this as a valuable opportunity to strengthen our geographical position and embark on the next step in our plans for expansion,” says F&W business strategy director, Sam Fagan.
