Teams from companies in the county are being invited to enter a 5-A-Side tournament at Soccer Burnley on Sunday February 26.
The event is the brainchild of Rob Scott of Denwa Communications who is also a member of The Rotary Club of Burnley Pendleside.
“The tournament is being organised by a group of us at work and the aim is to raise as much as we can for local charities,” says Rob, who is also planning to pull off a transfer coup ahead of the event.
“We are hoping to have a former Burnley legend in our team. We can’t confirm anything yet but, if we’re successful, I’m sure it will add some spice to the whole event. The whole aim is to have a bit of fun and raise as much money as we can for the Rotary Club.”
