Cyber security: Prevention is better than cure

According to the government’s 2017 Cyber Security Breaches Survey, two-thirds of medium sized businesses reported “at least one cyber security breach or attack in the last 12 months.”

The consequences of an attack will vary per business and could go undetected for months, or you could find all your data has been encrypted and held to ransom with the click of a single malicious link.

The government survey claims that 72 per cent of breaches suffered in the past year came as a result of a link being clicked in a fraudulent email.
