Curtis Law hires head of commercial litigation

Curtis Law Solicitors has hired Anis Waiz, who has more than 20 years experience in the sector, as head of commercial litigation.

He specialises in a diverse range of areas including claims against professionals, secured lending, mortgage fraud and land registry proceedings.

After studying Law at Manchester Metropolitan University, Anis decided to pursue a career within a law firm.

“The biggest appeal of my job is providing sound commercial advice for my clients,” Anis said.

“I look forward to helping the business progress even further. I will be speaking to as many clients as possible to let them know the services we have on offer and build upon the business by promoting the Curtis brand,” he added.

He’s a fantastic addition and his skills and experience will help provide the best possible service for our clients.” Set up in 2008, the law firm has expanded its workforce to more than 150 employees over the past five years with offices across Blackburn, Manchester and Middlesbrough.
