Creative team set to expand at local hair salon

A hair salon in Nelson becomes the home of creativity for clients across Lancashire, as it holds an open day to welcome new members of the team.

Rachel Mason Hair, based on Leeds Road, invited customers, family and friends to enjoy complimentary Prosecco and nibbles, alongside watching hair, beauty, makeup and barbering demonstrations by the talented new members of the team.

Rachel said: “I’m absolutely thrilled to welcome three new members to our creative team. We now offer a collaboration of hairdressing, beauty, make up and barbering all under one roof.

“Clients are able to visit us for the full package, which is much more convenient, but also exciting. Who doesn’t love to be pampered?!”

Paige Galery of The Beauty Gallery joins the team with over 4 years’ experience in the industry. Paige is a sole trader offering a wide range of treatments such as, acrylic nails, LVL lashes, manicures, pedicures and Mary Cohr facials.

Rhianna Leach is a professional makeup artist specialising in bridal and all occasion makeup. Her work has been published in national magazines; makeup looks include weddings, hen parties, girl’s nights out, prom and even tutorials.

Martins Arbidans is a level 3 qualified hairdresser, specialising in haircuts, beards, facial treatments and eyebrow shaping for men.

Rachel added: “The open day was a huge success and we’d like to thank everyone for taking the time to visit us and show their support.

“It’s a very exciting time at the salon and we’re all really looking forward to a colourful future.” Goody bags were handed out on the day for customers who booked appointments; these were filled with products from top name brands such as Fudge, Joico and Unite.
