Today, October 7th, marks World Cotton Day, and Cotton Digital is celebrating where their name originated from. Here's what they had to share...
We’ve been around since 2020, but our name goes way back…
Back in the 19th and 20th centuries, Burnley was well-known for its cotton mills. To be precise, there were 140 cotton mills in Burnley alone and over 70 per cent of the population worked in them.
As we expand our offices into Manchester and other major UK cities in the near future, we wanted to keep a piece of Burnley to us, hence why we rebranded from HDW Marketing to Cotton Digital in 2023 - let’s take a look at our timeline!
In 2020, HDW Graphix was established, a small part-time graphic designer, selling basic logos on Instagram and Facebook.
In 2021, HDW Graphix became HDW Marketing, a small marketing agency based in Burnley offering Social Media Marketing and Website Design.
In 2023, HDW Marketing rebranded to Cotton Digital and became a full service Digital Marketing agency with a team of 5 with offices in both Burnley and Manchester.
