Code Galaxy announces non-executive director appointment

Blackpool based software development firm Code Galaxy is delighted to announce the appointment of Gary Lumby MBE as non-executive director.

Led by Mary and Nicky Speakman, Code Galaxy is a team of technology, software and digital specialists which works with businesses to optimise their operations and stand out online. With services including bespoke software solutions, website and app development, and the build of bespoke e-commerce websites, Code Galaxy has become a leading technology brand since its incorporation in 2017.

Gary Lumby brings to the board a wealth of experience and success in business growth and mentoring.

His role for Code Galaxy will be focused on strategies for growth, increasing market share and seizing new opportunities and directions for commercial development.

His extensive network and commercial instinct will also be instrumental in identifying the potential of existing commercial relationships and collaborations at Code Galaxy.

Mary Speakman met Gary when he was her growth expert on the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses Programme at the University of Oxford.

She said: “Working with Gary on the Small Businesses Programme was a turning point in my role as Managing Director of Code Galaxy. His positivity and breadth of experience gave me the inspiration and direction to build on what we had already achieved in the business to take Code Galaxy to the next level.
