CoolKit, one of East Lancashire’s leading manufacturing specialists, reaffirms its dedication to fostering the next generation of skilled professionals.
Recognising that the key to success lies in strategic investment, the company is proud to invest in the future of manufacturing through its ongoing partnership with Blackburn College.
East Lancashire has a rich history of manufacturing, and CoolKit is committed to ensuring that this legacy continues.
By collaborating closely with local educators, the company is helping to cultivate the talent that will drive the region's industrial success for years to come.
The relationship between CoolKit and Blackburn College will create opportunities for students to gain experience with the UK’s largest refrigerated van specialists, as well as establishing a natural path for CoolKit to strengthen their workforce.
A T Level student at the college will be the first to maximise the path – joining head of finance Gill Hayes on a work experience placement.
Georgina Grice, head of people at CoolKit, said: “Our partnership with Blackburn College allows us to invest directly in the next generation of manufacturing excellence.
“This collaboration not only supports the future workforce of CoolKit but also strengthens the broader manufacturing community in East Lancashire.”
The partnership was recently recognised when CoolKit accepted a certificate from Blackburn College.
The certificate acknowledges the company’s ongoing contribution to educational initiatives and celebrates the shared success the collaboration.
