CoolKit, the UK’s largest specialist in refrigerated and temperature-controlled light commercial vehicles (LCVs), is proud to have been designated as Preferred Partner of MAN Truck & Bus UK Ltd.

This partnership further highlights CoolKit’s standing as a trusted and innovative leader in temperature-controlled vehicle conversions, aligning with the reputation of MAN Truck & Bus reputation for premium products and services.

MAN Truck & Bus has a legacy of engineering excellence, innovation and sustainability.

Known as ‘the truck among vans’, the MAN TGE exemplifies these principles, providing a reliable, versatile and high-quality foundation for temperature-controlled conversions.

CoolKit’s refrigerated conversions elevate the TGE range such that it easily exceeds the daily demands faced by the industries requiring temperature-control, primarily those in foodservice, catering and pharmaceutical wholesaling.

By focusing on delivering a higher payload, CoolKit utilises its unique conversion features to provide the advantage of exceptional payload of more than 1,050kg on L2 variants, and 900kg on L3, net of the weight of a driver and a 90 per cent fuel load. For the fleet operator the unique benefit is a CoolKit-converted TGE with unprecedented productivity and profitability

Certified to the ISO 14001 standard for environmental management, CoolKit’s controls echo MAN’s own climate protection initiatives, including efforts to improve vehicle recyclability and promote eco-conscious transport solutions.

CoolKit will collaborate closely with MAN’s nationwide dealer network to strengthen their offerings and drive success in the temperature-controlled light commercial vehicle (LCV) market.

MAN dealers will be equipped with the tools and data needed to showcase superior van productivity by mobilising demonstrator products, offering display stock, and using CoolKit’s Coolselecta van configurator, which enables customers to visualise and customize their conversions.

Cameron Javed, head of fleet sales at CoolKit, said: “Becoming an MAN TGE Preferred Partner is a huge milestone for CoolKit.

“This collaboration allows us to bring our expertise to the exceptional MAN TGE platform. Our shared vision with MAN enables us to set new benchmarks in refrigerated transport, helping businesses meet the evolving demands of their operations while advancing their environmental goals.”

The partnership underscores CoolKit’s ability to uphold the high standards of productivity, durability, and quality associated with the MAN brand.

For more information about CoolKit’s MAN TGE range, visit the website or get in touch with the team on 01282 688 045.

CoolKit is the UK’s largest temperature-controlled transport specialist, renowned for its innovative and award-winning refrigerated vehicle conversions.

Working with all major automotive manufacturers, CoolKit provides highly efficient and durable solutions tailored to meet the specific needs of industries such as food distribution, pharmaceuticals and catering.

It comes after last month, Lancashire Business View reported how CoolKit, had partnered with Blackburn College's Hybrid Electric Automotive Training (HEAT) centre to enhance the skills of both CoolKit employees and the future manufacturing workforce as hybrid and electric vehicle technology continues to evolve.

Through this strategic partnership, nine CoolKit team members from its Blackburn site would undertake the IMI Level 2 in Hybrid and Electric Vehicles at Blackburn College's state-of-the-art HEAT centre.
