Accrington based CMAC Group has appointed Hannah Bermudez as director of people to shape the group’s people strategy across the UK and Europe.
Bermudez brings more than 16 years’ experience in senior HR roles across both the public and private sectors, most recently as director of people and operations at Salford City Football Club.
In her new position, Bermudez will lead the continued development of CMAC Group’s people function, supporting business units across the Group in strengthening engagement, culture and performance.
She will also play a key role in building solid partnerships across CMAC’s teams as the business continues to grow.
Peter Slater, chief executive of CMAC Group, said: “Hannah has built an impressive career leading people operations in fast-paced environments, and her ability to bring teams together while strengthening governance and culture will be hugely valuable as CMAC continues to grow across the UK and internationally. Bermudez has advised chief executives and boards on strategic, business-critical priorities, led multi-disciplinary teams and built HR functions from the ground up.
She is passionate about welfare and wellbeing, and has won awards for her work in equality, diversity and inclusion, reflecting areas that CMAC is actively prioritising as part of its people strategy for 2026 and beyond.
