Cassons given call up by Burnley FC
Premier League new boys Burnley have appointed Cassons as their new accountants.Cassons will support the club by carrying out the audit and providing tax, financial and general business advice.

Under the agreement Rossendale-based Cassons will also assist the club in preparing and completing financial reports to the football authorities and provide ongoing support to Turf Moor’s new financial controller, Steve Cook.Burnley FC director Clive Holt said: “We are very pleased to welcome back Cassons as the club auditors and tax advisors. They are growing local business, with many employees who are Clarets fans, and we look forward to working with them.” Cassons has also been appointed to work for Burnley Football Club in the Community, a charitable organisation linked to the club, established to promote local community participation in recreation. Cassons will prepare and audit the financial statements of the charity and provide financial advice.
