Business idea is anything but rubbish

A new Blackburn company that specialises in household maintenance and waste removal is taking on extra staff thanks to free business support through Regenerate Pennine Lancashire.

Azzurian offer services such as repairs, waste removal and a key holding service to help protect any property, rented or owned.

Director John Caton was looking for assistance and training with all aspects of starting a new business. His solicitor advised him about the free start up support available through Regenerate.

John attended their free start up Bootcamps, where he benefited from assistance with completing his business plan. He took part in a free HR seminar to help him with taking on staff, and was assigned his own business coach.

John has since recruited an additional member of staff and is due to take on more in the near future. Thanks to the coaching, John is utilising professional selling skills and social media to promote his business.

John said: “The workshops and seminars have been extremely worthwhile and beneficial to me in starting my business, and I’d recommend them to anyone in a similar position. They provide a good opportunity to meet other new businesses while receiving expert advice.”
