Lancashire business owners can benefit from a new free online tool to help them to immediately understand their key risks as they plan their recovery from the economic impact of coronavirus.

Boost; Lancashire’s Business Growth Hub has partnered with Risk Dashboard to give Lancashire businesses access to the free tool, which covers aspects of recovery including safely returning to work, staff furlough and developing a strategy for the next 3-12 months.

The tool, Survival, Resilience and Growth, asks businesses a series of questions related to their sector and circumstances before providing them with tasks to reduce their risk. This is reflected visually through an online dashboard.

The platform also directs companies to further guidance and support from trusted sources such as the NHS, GOV.UK, and National Cyber Security Centre, helping business to access reliable information quickly.

Neil Campbell, commercial director at Risk Dashboard said: “Our collective objective is to help SMEs navigate the current economic climate through our easy to use software, protecting jobs and getting staff back into work safely.

“As well as identifying COVID-19 risks, you can also see from the dashboard the positive actions that you have already taken, providing assurances that your business is moving in the right direction.”

Andrew Leeming, programme manager, Boost said: “Throughout the coronavirus pandemic, Boost has been helping businesses to improve their resilience by advising them and directing to the brilliant funded support we have available across the county.

“The partnership with Risk Dashboard is a perfect complement to that. As businesses continue their recovery journey, this free tool will help them to instantly mitigate their risk and focus on future growth.

“It will also help Boost to better understand in real-time the key concerns and recovery barriers of the county’s businesses so we can tailor our fully funded support to better help Lancashire.”

Businesses can access Survival, Resilience and Growth here by using the code BOOST20.

Boost is Lancashire’s Business Growth Hub and is led by the Lancashire LEP (Local Enterprise Partnership) and Lancashire County Council and supported by funding from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
