This does not take into account the many sole traders and partnerships who will also have set up trading.

If the number of enquiries coming through ourselves is anything to go by we are on track to beat this in 2015. Business Enterprise Trust has been established for 32 years offering advice and support to new and developing businesses. With our roots historically in Hyndburn, we now manage contracts across the County and indeed the North West.

One of our current support programmes is the government Start Up Loan scheme, a funding option with mentoring support to businesses up to their 2nd year in business. So far in 2015 we have lent £500,000 to over 50 new start ups mainly in the Lancashire area.

In July we saw £100,000 of this money being given out and August is on track to see a record number of enquiries with 15 on the first Monday alone. There clearly is no summer break for those considering starting up a business.

As well as the funding we are able to help businesses through our Start Up and Grow scheme and we are not restricted to any industry sector, we can help anyone from a window cleaner to a larger venture. If you are working with start ups or you are considering a start up venture yourself, or you are a young company needing some support why not call me today to see how we can help.
