The Business Network Central & East Lancashire (BNCEL) has launched a property and construction sector specific group, giving members further opportunities to share expertise and build relationships within the wider network.
Its inaugural meeting at Mytton Fold brought together specialists from architecture, surveying, law, finance, interiors and building services.
The group forms part of BNCEL’s programme of sector specific meetings, which bring members working in related industries together for more focused discussions, knowledge sharing and collaboration.
With a broad mix of expertise around the table, the gathering gave attendees an opportunity to exchange ideas, share experience and explore connections across the property and construction sector.
Guest speaker Seb Salisbury, of RPS Design Group Architects, delivered a session titled ‘A Day in the Life of an Architect’, giving fellow members an insight into his work and the projects his practice is undertaking.
Karen Tems, of BNCEL, welcomed the enthusiasm and contributions of those attending.
She said: “Our sector specific meetings go from strength to strength with the launch of our property and construction group. It was wonderful to see the collaborations and knowledge flowing between our members.”
BNCEL is keen to build on that momentum by welcoming more businesses and professionals who work within, or support, the property and construction sector into the wider network. Karen would like to hear from anyone interested in BNCEL membership and the opportunity to participate in its sector-specific groups.
Businesses represented at the launch included Abode Building Surveyors, Andrew Livesey Photography, Brabners, Elgra Furniture Consultants, Farleys Solicitors, Graham Anthony Associates, Grove Design London and Harrison Drury.
They were joined by Havora Stays / Annshaws Living, Orca Finance, Peter Dickinson Chartered Architects, RPS Design Group Architects, Scope Fire & Security, Serconnect IoT, Wallscape and Your Bespoke Space.
Karen thanked attendees for helping make the inaugural event a success, alongside Paul Macneil and Sabine at Mytton Fold for their hospitality. Photography was provided by Andrew Livesey.
The next property and construction sector specific meeting takes place on 13 January. To find out more about BNCEL and getting involved, contact Karen Tems at The Business Network Central & East Lancashire.
