There are two kinds of people at Christmas: those who want to put the tree up in November and those who don’t even want to hear the word until mid-December. Whichever person you are, I think we can all agree that Christmas is about giving and EVERYONE deserves to feel the Christmas spirit.
For many children in Blackburn with Darwen, that’s not the case. That’s why we’re appealing to our family, friends, customers, suppliers and the entire BwD community for gift donations this year.
Secret Santa Ltd
Every donation we receive will be sent to Secret Santa Ltd to distribute amongst some of the most under-privileged children in our community.
Secret Santa Ltd is a Community Interest Company (Reg # 10858839). Its primary purpose is to provide under-privileged children by giving them a sack of presents to open on Christmas morning. Secret Santa Ltd also support lonely, elderly people by arranging parties over the festive period.
Donations
Secret Santa Ltd prepare ‘Santa sacks’ containing around 7 presents for children who would otherwise get nothing. They need more of the following items by December 10th:
- Selection boxes
- New/new looking teddies
- New “main” toys for children between the ages of 0-17 years old
- Preloved toys that are in great condition
