Big Presence, a lead-generation company based in Lancashire, is proud to announce the appointment of Matt Simmons to its board of directors.

With over a decade of experience in outbound sales, business development, and sales training, Matt is a valuable addition to the team and will help guide Big Presence as it continues its impressive growth trajectory.

Big Presence strategy director Jonathan Finch said: “We’re delighted to have Matt on board with us at Big Presence. Matt has vast experience working with businesses to accelerate their revenue performance.

"His experience will ensure our clients have the latest lead generation technologies, appropriate strategies and the structures required to scale their businesses. The appointment of Matt to our board is great news for businesses everywhere that need to generate more incoming enquiries.”

Matt’s career has been a tale of consistent success. After leaving university, he worked for a printing company where he delivered over £600,000 in increased sales, a 50 per cent increase within two years. From there, he became the business development manager for a software company. He generated over £2m in new business and helped the company expand into multiple EU countries.

Having established himself in sales and business development, Matt turned his talents to training. He joined a leading specialist in sales training, where he often worked as a virtual sales director for businesses.

As well as training sales teams worldwide, Matt helped companies map out their sales processes, develop new Go-to-Market strategies and hire new sales teams. During this time, he helped one client grow their turnover by 37 per cent within one year of working together.

His most recent role was at Barclaycard as the head sales trainer and coach. He was responsible for training over 150 staff and innovated new sales coaching methods across the business. As a result, he halved the time in which new sales staff became productive (from twelve weeks to six) and increased conversion rates by 12 per cent within his first six months of employment.

Matt said on his appointment: “For the last twelve months, I've watched Big Presence grow from start-up to becoming a major player in the lead generation world.  When the opportunity came up to join as a director, there was no denying that it seemed like the perfect fit.

"Lead generation has been a major factor in my career and now that my sole effort is devoted towards aiding our clients with accelerating their revenue streams - this fills me with anticipation for what's ahead!"

Big Presence helps businesses scale and accelerate their revenue by generating leads, opportunities and enquiries.  If you’re looking for quality leads from a trusted source, look no further than Big Presence.
