Beever and Struthers joins global network

Beever and Struthers, which has offices in Blackburn, has become the sole accountancy and business advisory firm in the North West of England to join HLB International, a worldwide network of independent accounting firms and business advisors.

The firm will use its regionally exclusive membership of HLB to increase its international presence via referrals of work from fellow member firms worldwide and to put its clients wanting to expand overseas in contact with other accountancy professionals in the relevant country or region.

A recent internal review of international work by Beever and Struthers showed that the firm already has a significant number of clients with operations overseas and international connections in 22 countries.

Formed in 1969, HLB International is a global network of independent professional accounting firms and business advisers with member firms in more than 100 countries, employing almost 2,000 partners and about 14,500 staff in 500 offices and collectively generating $1.79bn in revenues.Picture by, Chris Gleave. Phil Roberts, managing partner of Beever and Struthers, said: “Our acceptance by HLB International was hard won and testimony to the blue-chip service we provide for our clients. We believe there is considerable potential for bringing international transactions to the North West of England and to increase the number of our clients with overseas interests.”
