Creative Chorley-based BCAE Architects is delighted to announce that Apprentice Technologist Joe Eccles has been named North West Regional T Level Student of the Year at the National Apprenticeship and Skills Awards 2025, held at the Hilton Liverpool City Centre on 18 October.
Now in its 22nd year, the National Apprenticeship and Skills Awards celebrate apprentices, T Level students, and employers who have gone above and beyond in their fields.
Each regional ceremony recognises the best emerging talent and highlights the impact of technical education on the UK workforce.
BCAE Architects is a high-end, full-service practice delivering design-led, contextually focussed projects across the North West and beyond with offices in Chorley and Altrincham.
The studio works on a range of schemes, from new homes and sensitive refurbishments to commercial developments and interior design projects. BCAE is known for producing client focussed architectural designs that is are innovative and rooted in their surroundings.
Joe’s achievement recognises his exceptional creativity, dedication, and passion for architectural design.
Selected from over 1,000 applicants across the UK, Joe will now represent the North West region at the National Finals in London on 26 November 2025.
He said: “I’m delighted to have won this award, which recognises the hard work I’ve put into my T Level and the experience I’ve gained at BCAE. Architecture is about creating meaningful, well-crafted spaces, and I’m so grateful to be learning from a team that shares that vision. Being named regional winner is a huge honour, and I can’t wait to represent the North West at the national finals.”
