Barnfield Contractors UK, part of the Barnfield Group, has completed the sale of a unit at Advance Point to LJR Footwear, with the space now occupied by fast-growing pet gear brand Total Pet, for an undisclosed amount.
The transaction underlines continued investor confidence in Advance Point and highlights the scheme’s appeal to expanding online-led businesses seeking high-quality storage and distribution space in a strategically connected location.
Daniel Hargreaves-Barlow, director at LJR Footwear, said: “We are delighted to have secured multiple units at Advance Point.
"The quality of the build is second to none, and the connectivity via the M65 makes this an outstanding location for businesses seeking strong regional access.
"Our long-standing relationship with Barnfield further strengthens our confidence in this investment and in the continued growth of the area.”
Founded in 2019, Total Pet has rapidly established itself as a best seller of figure of 8 dog leads and long line training leads.
The Burnley-born brand specialises in innovative, durable dog gear, with every product designed, manufactured and retailed entirely under the Total Pet name.
Elliot Hall, founder of Total Pet, said: “We’re really pleased with the unit at Advance Point.
"The frontage was key for us - it gives the space a light, open and airy feel, unlike some industrial units that can feel dark and cold. We wanted a bright environment to create a hybrid space combining office, trade counter and warehousing under one roof.
“The location just off the main road is ideal, with strong visibility backing onto the road. There’s plenty of space for delivery drivers to manoeuvre and ample parking, which works perfectly for our growing storage and distribution requirements as an online business.
“As we continue to scale, Advance Point gives us the flexibility and quality of environment we need to support the next phase of our growth.”
After a year in development, Total Pet will soon expand its product range to include dog harness, lead and collar sets, further strengthening its position within the pet gear market.
Tracy Clavell-Bate, head of developments and acquisition at Barnfield, added: “This latest sale and occupation demonstrate the strength of Advance Point as a destination for both investors and growing businesses.
"The scheme offers modern, high-specification units with excellent prominence, strong transport links and the flexibility to accommodate a range of operational needs, including warehousing, distribution and trade counter use.
“We continue to see strong interest from businesses looking to secure space in a well-connected Burnley location.”
Advance Point’s strategic position, modern design and high build quality continue to attract demand from purchasers and occupiers alike. Barnfield Contractors UK is encouraging businesses and investors to explore current availability at the development.
