Barnfield and Petty form partnership

Two of the county's best known businesses have teamed up to take several brand new housing developments to market.

Petty Estate Agents and Barnfield Homes have frequently worked together previously and are now joining forces to market the remaining properties in Pendle at Walton Place, The Locks, Quaker Heights, Holden Road and Clitheroe Road; as well as properties in Burnley at The Hallows and Groveside Park.

Kelly Hankinson, the residential property manager at Barnfield Homes, said: “In recent years Barnfield Construction have been responsible for several contemporary developments across the area – usually in sought-after locations and in the vicinity of amenities and good schools.

“We’re in the business of building and selling homes to love, so every care is taken to ensure that the properties we build and sell are highly desirable, but affordability is also important to us, so the Help to Buy Scheme is available across all of our developments.

“As things have progressed, we’ve decided to expand our capacity to market properties by partnering with Petty Estate Agents.

“We had a long established relationship with Petty Commercial, so it was a logical step to partner with the residential arm of the business, as they are the area’s only selected Relocation Agent Network Local Experts,” added Ms. Hankinson.

Simon Morgan, Petty Estate Agents’ residential director, said: “We’re delighted to be working with a fellow east Lancashire business as prestigious as Barnfield – they’ve been involved in so many landmark construction projects over the years and their residential developments meet the extremely high standards that you’d expect of them.

“The developments where we are working together include the newly built Walton Place near Marsden Park Golf Course. All the developments offer a wide range of homes, from bungalows to town houses, from mill conversions to six bedroom detached properties, so there are opportunities for first time buyers, for people downsizing for retirement and for aspirational families. “In addition, these homes are very affordable – three bedroom properties are available for £149,950, whilst four bedroom detached properties are available for under the £250,000 five per cent stamp duty threshold,” added Mr. Morgan.
