Barclays is returning to be a headline sponsor of the Red Rose Awards 2026.

Now in its 16th year, the awards will be held at Blackpool’s Winter Gardens on March 12 and is a celebration of the best in the county.

Barclays has a been long-standing supporters of the event and is backing the event again.

Paul Nicholls, relationship director, Barclays, said: “Our partnership with Lancashire Business View and the Red Rose Awards is very much by design.

“Being headline sponsor of the Red Rose Awards allows us to play a pivotal role during the event, from reviewing the written applications to judging the finalists, all whilst being able to witness the calibre and diligence of the best businesses Lancashire has to offer.

“Being part of this event isn’t just about recognition, it’s about connection.

“There’s something wholesome and genuinely uplifting about coming together to celebrate each other’s achievements, share stories and spark new collaborations.

“We’re proud to support and celebrate the success of businesses across the region, whilst also being committed to supporting their ambitions for growth.

“It is good for business to be involved in the awards and it is good for our brand.

“We look forward to seeing the inspiring stories this year’s awards will bring!”

The awards are sponsored by: Barclays, Chorley Council, Farleys Solicitors, Forbes Solicitors, High Court Enforcement, Pierce, PM+M, Sowena Group and Viva.

The awards are also supported by Big Tank, Merchandise4Impact, Peter Scott Printers, Shout Connect, The Fun Experts and The Royal Dyche.

Joanne Hindley, sales director of Lancashire Business View, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Barclays back as headline sponsor of the Red Rose Awards.

“Their continued support speaks volumes about the impact and credibility of the event, and we’re proud to work alongside a brand so committed to championing business success in Lancashire.

“With excitement already building for next year, now’s the perfect time for other organisations to get involved and be part of one of the region’s most anticipated celebrations.”

It comes after Lancashire Business View reported Forbes Solicitors renewed their headline sponsorship for another year.
