Hippo Approved has been recognised for its excellent customer service by the UK's largest automotive marketplace Auto Trader for the fourth consecutive year.

The Blackburn-based dealership, stocking more than 400 competitively priced used cars from £10,000 up to over £100,000, has been named one of the top automotive retailers in Auto Trader’s new Highly Rated 2023 initiative.

Better still, it is an accolade driven by customers who have consistently rated Hippo Approved highly on the Auto Trader platform for excellent service.

Tom Preston, director of Hippo Approved (formerly Prestige), said: “Auto Trader is the number one platform for car and van sales in the UK, so to know that we are recognised by them for our outstanding customer service is phenomenal.

“As a business, we pride ourselves on delivering excellence across the board and to know that our customers are taking the time to feedback with such positivity is fantastic.”

To qualify for this Highly Rated accreditation Hippo had to have a consistently high volume of reviews in the last 12 months with an average review rating of four star and above, as well as demonstrating regular engagement with customer reviews.

The dealership, which currently has 300 cars for sale on the platform, has a 4.6 out of 5-star rating based on 7828 reviews.

The company’s Auto Trader store will now bear the Highly Rated 2023 Award logo and Hippo have a whole host of assets which they can now use to promote the news offline.

Tom added: “Buying a car is likely to be the second most costly purchase anyone is ever going to make so customers are always looking for extra reassurance that they are choosing the right supplier.

“This award adds another layer of confidence in our products and service for customers on and offline and we are proud to bear the Highly Rated accolade for all to see!”

Hippo Approved is part of the Hippo Motor Group and operates from Trident Park in Blackburn.
