With the Coronavirus pandemic hitting the UK; it’s time we all plan for the next few weeks and months. Guidelines are being updated on a daily-basis and it is unclear how long people in high-risk groups will be asked to take precautionary measures for and avoid all un-necessary social contact; this could very well be 4-6 months.

We need to be prepared; not only for ourselves and our families but by reaching out and supporting weaker people, who may not be able to get out to buy fresh food. It’s time to put measures in place to ensure that if you, a family member or neighbour are stuck at home, that you can all still eat quickly, easily and cost- effectively; whilst also supporting health, boosting nutrients and remaining hydrated. Strengthen Your Immune System. Eat Healthily, Quickly & Easily.VIT-BOMB® is a nutritionally complete and balanced meal, which also provides you with 20 vital vitamins and minerals, including Vitamin C to help strengthen your immune system. It’s low in sugar, high in fibre and contains Vitamin A, Vitamin D, Vitamin E, Vitamin C, Thiamin, Riboflavin, Niacin, Folate, Vitamin B12, Pantothenic Acid, Potassium, Calcium, Phosphorus, Magnesium, Iron, Zinc, Copper, Manganese and Selenium.

It only requires water; has months of shelf life and is packaged in bulk re-sealable bags. Once mixed, each meal lasts 24 hours if refrigerated or 5 hours if not. Created from 9 plant-based foods with a vitamin, mineral and flavour blend. It has balanced proteins, essential fats, carbs, fibre and phytonutrients. It is easy to digest, dairy- free and contains everything you need from a meal.

You’re extremely prone to serious and dangerous dehydration when fighting a fever, so it is vital to stay hydrated. VIT-BOMB® is perfect to ensure your body is getting the food it needs whilst also helping keep you hydrated! The powder is vanilla flavoured but can easily be tailored to meet people’s personal preference, with ZERO Sugar Flavour Drops including Banana & Peanut Butter, Banana, Blackberry flavour, Chocolate, Coffee, Cookie Dough, Double Vanilla, Gingerbread, Mint Chocolate, Strawberry and Cinnamon.

Delicious Products Are in The Creators Blood

Created, developed and produced in Chorley, Lancashire by Gareth Winnard from Winnard’s Ltd. He has been manufacturing food for the past ten years. He started out, as his father and previous generations of his family have, making Uncle Joe’s Mint Balls. These date back to 1898 and are now a cult-classic and often consumed for sore throats, coughs and colds too!

Gareth comments: "With VIT-BOMB® I wanted to tap into the future of the food marketplace and create a product that could benefit people’s daily lives from a money, time and health point of view; three key areas that need to be addressed.

“Our most popular VIT-BOMB® is Original v2.0; perfect to use every day as a delicious meal including during periods of illness and absolutely ideal if you are self-isolating; where you may want to stock up on cost effective, nutritious food that keeps for months. There is no food prep, your meal will be ready in seconds, it is easily digestible and will help you stay hydrated whilst ensuring your body is receiving what it needs from a healthy, balanced meal.

“We are all concerned about family and friends, especially those who are vulnerable. Free door to door delivery is available allowing you to either stock up for yourself or have it delivered straight to your loved one’s doorstep. Ready to order now at vitbomb.com/store

Covid-19 - Coronavirus Symptoms & AdviceThe present advice is for all people over 70 to practise social distancing, anyone with serious underlying health problems to self-isolate, anyone who has been undergoing chemotherapy and hence may have a weakened immune system to self-isolate, anyone who is pregnant to self-isolate, anyone who has been in contact with a confirmed carrier in the last 14-day period to self-isolate and if anyone is showing symptoms at home; your whole household must self-isolate for 14-days.

The issue is that it can take up to 14 days for symptoms of Coronavirus to appear but when they do it is a sudden onset. If you develop symptoms you will need to self-isolate and phone your GP. Do not go to a GP surgery, pharmacy or hospital unless instructed.

The main symptoms to look out for are a cough - this can be any kind of cough, not just dry, shortness of breath, breathing difficulties, fever (high temperature - 38 degrees Celsius or above), aches and pains. The main difference with Coronavirus is the presence of a fever and if you are sneezing, have a runny nose and itchy eyes it is more likely to be a cold / allergy.
