Another Truckfest win for long-standing driver David Weston

Held at Cheshire Showground in Knutsford on 9th and 10th October, Truckfest North West 2021 was yet another successful show for long-standing F&W driver David Weston, who placed third in the Best Kept Company-Owned Working Truck category! 

“As a valued member of the team for over 30 years, David has participated in shows such as this for most of the time he’s been with us,” says F&W Operations Strategy Director, Daniel Wood. “He was especially keen to take part in as many shows as he could manage this year, with most of the events having been cancelled last year due to the pandemic. His hard work has been noticed by judges, and he’s been highly commended in every Truckfest show he’s competed in this year, which is also a big achievement.

“In addition to David’s third-place trophy, we also brought home the second-place trophy for Best Fleet, and had five trucks in total appear on the highly commended list, which we’re all really pleased about.  

“Huge thanks are extended to everyone who attended the event and helped out with polishing and cleaning the trucks ready for presentation. The trucks all looked brilliant, everyone did a fantastic job, and we can’t wait to return and participate in these events again next year!”
