Amy Duncan awarded Young Corporate Lawyer of the Year at Insider Young Professionals Awards

The Insider North West Young Professionals Awards 2025 took place on April 24 at Manchester Central, bringing together the region’s brightest young talent to celebrate their achievements across various industries. ​

Farleys’ Corporate Solicitor, Amy Duncan, was named Young Corporate Lawyer of the Year.

Amy’s journey with Farleys began at the age of 7 when her parents instructed the firm in the sale of their business.

This early exposure sparked her interest in corporate law, leading her to undertake annual work experience placements with the firm during her studies.

She joined Farleys full-time in 2020 as a commercial executive, completed her training contract, and qualified as a solicitor in 2022. Since then, Amy has become an integral member of the corporate law team, advising business owners on sales, acquisitions, mergers, management buyouts, restructures, and business formations.

In addition to Amy’s success, we are proud to share that Associate Partner and Commercial Property Solicitor, Molly Greenwood, was shortlisted for Young Lawyer of the Year. Molly joined Farleys in 2017 as a commercial executive, trained with the firm, and qualified as a solicitor in 2020.

Her dedication and excellence in her field led to her promotion to Associate Partner in 2023. While she narrowly missed out on the award, being shortlisted is a testament to her outstanding contributions and the high regard in which she is held by clients and colleagues alike.
