Altius Group Limited, the UK’s leading group of business brokers based in Preston, has appointed Kevin Allcock as its first-ever chief operating officer.
Allcock’s appointment comes at a pivotal stage in the company’s evolution and is part of an ambitious plan to double the size of the business by 2025.
With current headcount at 65 across the group, recruitment plans continue to support this growth strategy. This includes strengthening the senior management team further, with several key appointments in the pipeline.
Allcock brings with him a wealth of experience having operated at board level within several private equity-funded, private corporate, public corporate, and entrepreneurial organisations. His experience spans multiple sectors including Executive leadership roles with Whitbread PLC, the Hemway Group, the Rank Group PLC and the Stonegate Group.
Allcock will be working closely with CEO Paul Miller.
Referring to his appointment, Kevin said: “I am delighted to be joining Altius at such an exciting point in the Group’s evolution. We have many talented people here who will enable us to capitalise on the opportunities that lie ahead and I’m very much looking forward to working with everyone in the team. We have an extremely bright future ahead of us.”
Paul Miller added: “Kevin joins us at a significant time in our growth plan. 2022 was a record year for Altius Group with more than 250 deals completed across our brands – and we’re looking to build on that success. We’re delighted to welcome Kevin on board. With his experience and expertise, he will play an important role in helping us achieve our long-term ambitions.”
