Together, they have experienced unprecedented sales activity in October, notably throughout the healthcare, childcare and corporate markets.

Significant transactions included the sale of Angels by Day Limited, a Nottingham-based childcare group of two nurseries, to Kids Planet Limited. Facilitated by Redwoods Dowling Kerr, a leading broker in the childcare industry, this acquisition expands Kids Planet’s footprint to over 200 nursery locations across the UK.

The specialist healthcare broker have additionally facilitated the sale of Apley Lodge Residential Home in Pembrokeshire, sold to an existing corporate buyer in the sector.

In the corporate sector, Kings Corporate completed the sale of Ceejay Construction Limited to Edison Alchemy Limited. Buoyed by October’s success, Altius Group anticipates continued momentum, with the recent Autumn Budget expected to stimulate further enquiries as business owners evaluate their exit options.

Andrew K. Steen, Managing Director of Altius Group, commented: “October has been an outstanding month for us, evidencing our expertise and commitment to service excellence. Looking ahead, we anticipate further consolidation within the childcare and healthcare markets, alongside robust M&A activity in the corporate sector.

Paul Miller, Chairman at Altius Group, added: “This record-breaking month reflects the strategic focus and adaptability of our brands. I am very proud of what the team has achieved; we are thrilled to be closing 2024 on a high note and are confident that we will build on this momentum into the New Year.”
