Following the recent launch of its live-in care division, Alcedo Care Group has bolstered its team with the appointment of Rebecca Ogujor as head of live-in care.

Working from Alcedo’s Preston office, Rebecca’s overriding objective is to successfully establish the new division for Alcedo Care, breaking into the marketplace and offering a range of high-quality care packages.

The traditional audience will be the elderly who want to remain in the familiar and comfortable surroundings of their own home but require additional help with medical care and personal support.  The packages offered by Alcedo will also extend to incorporate families with disabled children as well as individuals and couples with learning difficulties, or who need clinical and complex care.

With vast experience in this field, having previously held a managerial position across the Lancashire region for another live-in care provider, as well as being a care home manager for a large charity and operations manager at sheltered housing, Rebecca’s knowledge of the sector is superb.

Commenting on her appointment, Rebecca says: “I was attracted to Alcedo Care Group as it is a family run business and the values of owners Andy and Jo Boardman reflect my own values regarding how quality care should be delivered.

“The company has just launched the live-in care division so its an exciting time to join, plus there is plenty of growth in the pipeline which in turn will create great career opportunities for myself and my team.”

Andy Boardman, managing director of Alcedo Care Group, adds: “Rebecca is absolutely the right choice for this role.  Her expertise is second to none and her determination and drive will ensure the success of this new live-in care division.  We’d like to welcome her to the team and wish her well.”

Rebecca is currently working from home and will spend time at each of the company’s five offices across the North West, ensuring she meets with all office managers and their teams.

Rebecca concludes: “Its great to be joining a business with a such a friendly and welcoming culture and I am genuinely excited about what the future will bring for me at Alcedo Care.”

Established in 2017, Alcedo Care continues to expand at pace and is fast gaining an enviable reputation as the home care provider of choice thanks to its superb 500-strong team of highly skilled and compassionate carers who make a tangible difference to the quality of life of the company’s home care clients.

Run by Andy and Jo Boardman, a passionate husband and wife team, the company aims to bring something different to the sector based on recruiting only the very best carers and retaining them by placing value on job satisfaction, training, continued professional development, internal promotion prospects and pay structure.  This combined with using the very latest technology is what sets the Alcedo Care Group apart from other home care providers.

With offices in Southport, Blackpool, Wigan, Preston and now Lancaster, Alcedo Care offers home care services across the whole of the North West region and was recently rated joint best in the UK by online home care review website homecare.co.uk.

For further information on the range live-in care packages available by Alcedo Care or to arrange a free assessment, please contact Rebecca Ogujor on 0333 015 0677 or visit www.alcedocare.co.uk.
