Adpak to exhibit at PPMA Total Show 2016

Leading UK supplier of shrink wrapping machines, packaging systems and films, Adpak Machinery Systems will be exhibiting at PPMA Total Show 2016.

Senior members of the Adpak management and sales team, plus representatives of the company's principal suppliers, will be on stand C60/B110 during the exhibition.

At the show, Adpak will be promoting some of its most popular machines for businesses in the transport and logistics, food manufacturing, cosmetics, chemicals, clothing, e-commerce, engineering and print sectors.

One of the machines Adpak will be promoting at the show is the Smipack ALX / ARX range of single reel automatic overlap shrink wrapping system with automatic pack collation, which is used to produce printed film collations of bottles or cans.

Unlike traditional shrinkwrappers, the overlap system makes use of a single reel, with the edges of the film being joined on the bottom of the pack, avoiding welding on the side of a pack. As a result, the printed design on the shrink film is visible and accurately aligned – providing an attractive packed end product ready for the supermarket shelf.

Commenting on the benefits of the system, Amanda Jenkins, sales office manager at Adpak, said: “The BP 802ARX 280R machine can produce up to 30 packs per minute depending on the system configuration and the product being packed. It is also a very compact system – making it an ideal option for production lines where space is at a premium. We’re expecting substantial interest in the product at PPMA Total from drink producers and contract packing companies.

“We’re really looking forward to meeting fellow processing and packaging professionals at PPMA Total Show as well as showcasing some of our wide range of packaging systems - already trusted by companies including Olympic Foods, Steelite International, Wax Lyrical, Cheshire Mouldings, Midland Paper Products, MX Group and Greggs.”
