Accrol hits £70m sales
Blackburn-based Accrol Papers has registered £70m in sales, an 8 per cent increase on last year's figures.
The family-owned soft tissue manufacturer, which ranked number 56 in Lancashire Business View's Fab 500, said it expects further growth over the coming year as its new production facility and improved customer support infrastructure begin to take effect.Turnover at Accrol Holdings improved by 18 per cent to £74.8m in the year to the end of April. Pre-tax profits were up by 8.3% to £7.8m. The company was also listed in April's Sunday Times Profit Track 100 for its rapid growth, a position it's sure to keep if it hits the predicted £90m turnover in 2014.
