Accountancy and business advisory firm Champion Accountants has relocated its central Lancashire office to new premises near Chorley.
Champion's established Preston team has relocated from Hesketh Bank to Chorley Business & Technology Centre in Euxton Lane.
Champion first established a presence in Preston in 2005 before merging with Hesketh Bank based TLL Chartered Accountants in 2021.
The team of almost 20 supports clients across the region and beyond, providing accountancy, audit, tax, payroll and wider business advisory services to SME companies, entrepreneurs, and family-run businesses as well as many charities and social enterprises.
Bosses say the move will give Champion 'capacity to grow, while supporting its commitment to developing the next generation of accountancy talent through its trainee programme'.
Peter Buck, partner at Champion Accountants, said: “We’ve been part of Lancashire’s business community for more than 20 years, so this move is about investing in what comes next – for our team, our clients, and the businesses around us.
“We’ve continued growing since bringing our teams together in Hesketh Bank in 2021, and we needed a space that could grow with us. There’s enormous value in being together, particularly when you’re developing people at the start of their careers.
"We take that responsibility seriously, and having more space to collaborate and share knowledge will help us continue providing the best pragmatic, supportive, and considered advice to our clients.”
Partner Lucy Panchal said: “Our clients trust us with some of the biggest decisions they’ll make – from growing or restructuring a business to succession planning and ultimately exiting it. Those conversations can be complex, strategic, and sometimes deeply personal, and there are moments when there is simply no substitute for sitting across the table from somebody you trust. The new office gives us the facilities to do exactly that.
“We’re also excited to become part of the business community here, and we’re looking forward to building new relationships and meeting our neighbours.”
Champion employs more than 100 people across four north west offices, including in Blackpool and further afield in Manchester and Chester.
