Accountancy awards open for entries
Entries are now open for the North West Society of Chartered Accountants (NWSCA) annual awards, now in their tenth year.

This year’s awards feature seven categories, including: Accountancy Firm of the Year, Accountancy Rising Star, Corporate Finance Team, Finance Director of the Year, Intermediary of the Year, International Business of the Year and RBS Business of the Year.
For the first time, entries for the awards can now be submitted online at www.nwsca-awards.co.uk. Entries must be received before 17:00 on 21 October, and are open to businesses and individuals based in the Lancashire and South Lakeland area.After the closing date, nominees will be shortlisted by a panel of experienced judges from corporate sponsors RBS, AFR Consulting, Taylor Patterson, Enterprise Ventures, Xero, The Write Angle and Napthens.
The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony hosted by journalist and broadcaster Tony Livesey, and they will receive recognition from industry professionals nationwide and also be permitted to display the award’s logo on marketing materials.Mark Schofield, president of the NWSCA, said: “We are proud to again open nominations for the region’s most well-respected accountancy awards. “Each year we proudly recognise the hard work and dedication of the North West’s best accountancy businesses, but there are also awards up for grabs for non-members too and these are traditionally very competitive.”
