You can now read the January/February issue of Lancashire Business View magazine in full online, as well as our usual printed version.
The latest edition of the magazine features The Big Interview with East Lancashire Learning Group principal Lisa O'Loughlin. She talks about being a leader in further education and taking on the challenge of change.
We will also bring you 'The Big 20' - our new ranking of Lancashire's biggest companies by sales and profit. It follows on from our annual and much-anticipated Hot 100 table of the county's most profitable SMEs. The Big 20 shifts the spotlight to the county's larger companies and their performance.
Our regional focus centres on Lancashire's local government reorganisation proposals which have been sent to Whitehall and they range from two to five unitary local authorities. Now it is down to government to decide.
To start 2026 on the right foot we asked business leaders from across the county to look into the future. We wanted to know their thoughts on what lies ahead for the next 12 months.
The magazine also has a special feature about how Lancashire employers are being urged to invest in the next generation and grow their own talent as the number of 16-18-year-olds starting apprenticeships in the county has dropped.
