New CEO joins Kirk Group

Kirk Group, the Nelson-based global specialist in liquid and biogas storage, has announced the appointment of Bill Leach as chief executive officer.

Bill will have overall responsibility for the strategic development and performance of the Group which is made up of Kirk Environmental, Biodome Asia and Biodome International.


Managing Director of Kirk Group Andrew Peace said: “Bill’s appointment gives Kirk a level of experience and expertise that will bring significant benefits to our employees, customers and supplier”

“With his support we have formulated solid plans for the development of the business both in the UK and overseas, and expect substantial growth in the next few years.”

Bill graduated from the University of Manchester in the 1980s and has over 20 years’ experience in construction, civil engineering and utilities. Starting his career as a site manager, Bill has held a number of senior positions in the industry. Most recently he was group managing director for the water division of a FTSE 250 Support Services business. Bill was responsible for a number of businesses and trebled turnover and profit over a five year period.
