Young ‘Uns Awards secures key new sponsors

By Lancashire Business View

27 May 2015

Three Lancashire businesses - Harrison Drury, Denwa and Barton Grange Hotel - have pledged their support to the Young ‘Uns Awards 2015 which are dedicated to unearthing and honouring the county’s top up-and-coming individuals.

Organised by Lancashire Business View, the awards have already secured headline backing from Federation of Small Businesses, the University of Central Lancashire and Boost Business Lancashire.

The new additions join the ranks with solicitors Harrison Drury sponsoring the drinks reception, telecoms and IT specialist Denwa sponsoring the Twitter wall and Preston-based Barton Grange sponsoring the follow-up winners’ reception.

The Young ‘Uns Awards recognise individuals making waves in their industries, from legal eagles to digital dynamos, red-hot retailers to globetrotting international traders. There is also a Young ‘Un Business of the Year category to honour new organisations, and the most impressive entry overall will take home the esteemed ‘The Young ‘Un of 2015’ Award.

Nominations have already been submitted and a panel of judges has been elected to choose the winner in each of the 12 categories.

The victors will be unveiled at a special celebration ceremony held on 12 June in the Spanish Ballroom of Blackpool’s Winter Gardens.

Tickets can be purchased at: www.lbvyoung-uns.co.uk

Richard Slater, publisher of Lancashire Business View, said: “We are delighted that Harrison Drury, Denwa and Barton Grange have chosen to be a part of this fantastic celebration.

“The support of these three companies, and all our sponsors, is crucial to the success of this event which plays an important role of highlighting and promoting the fantastic work being undertaken across the county every day.” Other sponsors include Business Enterprise Trust, Preston’s College, Peter Scott Printers, Square Cactus, Sunshine Events, Vedas Recruitment and Winter Gardens Blackpool.
