Young accountant named in Top 100 list

Michael Oates has been selected by ICAS (the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland) for its list of the Top 100 Young Chartered Accountants.

Based in Preston, Michael is an audit senior manager at RSM and is now in the running to be chosen overall winner, which will be announced in October.

Judges ranked nominees on three categories: technology, trust and talent.

Kevin Duffy, regional managing partner for RSM’s north-west region said: "We are proud to have one of our young CAs recognised in this way by such a prestigious organisation. This pays tribute to Michael’s hard work and dedication to the firm, and we are delighted to have him on our team."
