The impact of the pandemic has been and continues to be, extremely challenging for many local businesses, particularly small business owners. Your local Chamber of Commerce has been working hard to support as many businesses as possible since we entered the pandemic.

We want to continue that support to offer start up businesses whom are active and trading, based in North Lancashire and less than 12 months old, who are not currently members of Lancaster and District Chamber of Commerce, the opportunity to secure 12 months membership and support free of charge.

This bi-monthly draw, commencing on Friday 16th April (and held bi-monthly thereafter, running for a total of 5 times) will be promoted on the Facebook page, LinkedIn page and Twitter account of Lancaster and District Chamber of Commerce and entry details and terms and conditions can be found below.

This competition is in no way linked to Facebook, LinkedIn or Twitter.

To be entered in the bi-monthly draw all you need to do is email [email protected] and answer the following question:

In which century was Lancaster and District Chamber of Commerce founded? (hint have a look around the Chamber website!) State the date your business started trading. (Must be less than 12 months ago from the date of entry and be your primary business with less than 5 employees). Tell us your business name, address, website, email, telephone number and contact name.

The Closing Date is 5pm on Friday 30th April 2021.

Terms and conditions

Please note applicants must be new to Lancaster and District Chamber of Commerce (not past or present members) and your business must be your primary business. You must have less than 5 employees.

The closing date for each bi-monthly draw will be 2 weeks after each launch date and the winner will be drawn at random following the closing date and contacted by telephone or email. The winner will also be announced on the Chamber weekly newsletter.

Businesses can enter once per bi-monthly draw providing entry terms and conditions are fulfilled (excluding the winning business).

For the businesses who enter but are not drawn for the 12 months membership prize, a further 3 businesses will be drawn at each bi-monthly draw, for a free place each at the next nearest date for our members meet (currently held online).

The Chamber reserves the right to amend the entry terms and conditions per competition.
