Whittle Eastern Europe Logistics celebrates 30th birthday

Whittle Eastern Europe Logistics in Barrow is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, marking three decades of growth, resilience and dedication to its core region. 

Since 1996, paper atlases and fax machines have given way to advanced digital technologies, trade routes have shifted, and new international alliances have emerged. Through it all, Whittle has remained true to its identity as a specialist in Eastern European logistics.

What began as a small team of five has grown into a thriving workforce of 40 professionals, the majority of whom have been with the company for more than a decade. Today, it is a multilingual team speaking 24 languages, reflecting both its diversity and its connection to the region it serves.

A spokesman for the firm said: "Over time, Whittle has become associated with reliable service to Eastern Europe and a trusted long term partner for both local and multinational businesses across the UK and Europe.
