What More UK, one of the UK’s leading manufacturers or housewares, Cooking and bakeware, and gardenware, is this year celebrating a milestone 20 years of partnership with The Range Retail.

What More UK is a company going from strength to strength and part of that success is down to great partnerships with retailers.

It has previously been reported that this organisation currently exports to 73 countries around the world, but this latest news is evidence that they have not forgotten their home market, a clever move given that the UK Home Storage market is worth over £800 million and growing.

Partnerships with top retailers and distributors is key for What More to reach the UK market, and The Range, which now operates over 175 stores around the UK, has proven a valuable trading partner.

20 years ago, when What More first began trading the Range had far fewer outlets. The Range currently stock a big variety of What More product lines and they have grown to be one of their biggest customers.

National sales manager Laurent Decarpentry said “One of the keys to our relationship has been great communication. We are in a position to respond very quickly to our customers’ requirements. We have turned around large orders in a timely manner and at short notice when The Range have put us to the test. Because of this great relationship between our two companies it is a pleasure to deal with the Range staff, from buyers to merchandisers.”

What More company director Tony Grimshaw OBE commented: “The Range is a really great company, and they’ve been a brilliant partner for What More over the years. We’re happy to have reached this milestone with them and we’re looking forward to another 20 years."

The Range began life as an open-air market stall in Plymouth in 1989. It is now the fastest growing retailing in the UK stocking over 65,000 products across 16 different departments. Among those products is quite a number from What More, everything from storage boxes, bakeware, cookware, gardenware.

Launched in 1999 in the North West of England, What More UK is one of the UK’s leading suppliers of housewares, bakeware, cookware, and plasticware. The company has won numerous accolades including the Queen’s Award for Enterprise and the 2019 and 2020 Innovation Housewares Awards. What More UK is a proud member of Made in Britain, which supports and promotes British manufacturing, enabling buyers and consumers at home and abroad to identify British-made products.
