A tour of the manufacturer’s tooling and production sites left the multiple in no doubt that What More UK could make just what they needed. What More UK’s onsite production design team used their expertise to design a product that fit the buyer’s brief perfectly, and the tool room engineered a bespoke mould - all in just eight days allowing manufacture to rapidly begin.
“Our state-of-the-art tool room got straight into gear engineering a bespoke mould for the product – which wasn’t already in our bakeware product range - and in just eight working days we were ready to go into production.
The Wham Cook bakeware products will soon be on their way to stores and stocked in the kitchenware aisles.
What More UK diversified into bakeware in 2014. Today the business produces a range of Wham® Cook non-stick and vitreous enamel bakeware at its purpose-built manufacturing facility in Altham, close to Burnley. As well as its own very successful Wham Cook branded products, the company is now manufacturing bakeware for retailers' own-brand ranges and continually developing and refining its product lines. A complementary range of Wham Cook utensils and kitchen gadgets is also available. What More UK is also the UK’s leading manufacturer of plastic homewares. The business has a portfolio of more than 700 products: plastic housewares, gardening and DIY products sold under the trusted and value-for-money Wham brand.
