Chorley-based Commercial washrooms specialist Inscape Interiors has been appointed to three major office and commercial projects in the North West.

The team has been appointed by Caddick Construction to manufacture and install washroom cubicle and IPS systems within the office and transport areas of Victorian Plumbing’s new 544,000 sq ft warehouse in Leyland.

Built on a 40-acre plot close to the long-established Lancashire Business Park between junctions 28 and 29 of the M6, the new Victorian Plumbing warehouse is the first phase of a new 90-acre development known as Farington Park. Once fully operational, the site will support up 1,100 jobs.

Bowmer and Kirkland has appointed the firm to deliver the manufacture and fit-out of washroom cubicle and IPS systems at No. 1 St Michael’s, the nine-storey workspace development that forms the first phase of the £400m St Michael’s development in Manchester.

Developed by Gary Neville’s Relentless Developments, KKR and Salboy, No. 1 St Michael’s will provide nine floors of workspace, complemented by world-class rooftop dining and outdoor spaces. A second phase of development, launching in 2027 will bring a new 5-star hotel together with luxury spa, dining and leisure facilities.

BAM Construction has awarded Inscape the contract to provide duct panelling, vanity units, stone tops and mirrored wall units for the washrooms of the Plot 9A office building within Manchester First Street development.

Designed by Jon Matthews Architects, Plot 9A at First Street will provide 130,000 sq ft net zero carbon, Grade A office space. The building has already been fully let to the Government Property Agency and is due for completion in August 2024.

Gary Wynne, managing director of Inscape Interiors, said: “The St Michael’s and First Street developments are going to further enhance Manchester’s reputation as a world-class city of choice for people and businesses.

“Meanwhile, the Victorian Plumbing warehouse in Leyland underscores the region’s reputation as an important hub for warehousing, transport and logistics, one that can attract major businesses and create hundreds of new jobs.

“We’re proud to have been entrusted to provide washroom manufacture and fit-out services for these three high-profile projects in the North West.”
