Walker Fire has cemented its position as a regional growth leader with the acquisition of Spitfire Protection Services and Blackwood Fire, two established players in the UK fire safety sector.
The acquisitions strengthen the Preston headquartered fire and security service provider’s national presence, expand its service capacity, and align with the company’s long-term mission: to deliver complete fire and security compliance under one roof.
This expansion comes at a time of record performance for the company. Walker Fire was recently recognised as one of Lancashire’s Top 100 companies by turnover, and earned a place among the top 25 fastest-growing companies by EBITDA.
David Cosgrove, managing director at Walker Fire, said: “These milestones reflect our ongoing investment in people, partnerships, and customer-first innovation.
“We’re proud to be building a trusted, compliant, and forward-thinking fire and security network across the UK rooted here in Lancashire.”
In tandem with this growth, Walker Fire has unveiled a new website designed to simplify access to fire and security services for both businesses and homeowners.
The new platform enables faster quote requests, clearer service navigation, and seamless access to expert support across extinguishers, risk assessments, fire alarms, CCTV, intruder systems, and more.
Walker Fire was founded in 1940 and has more than 75 years of experience protecting people, property, and businesses.
It provides nationwide fire and security solutions including installation, servicing, and training as well as manufacturing its own fire extinguishers for guaranteed quality, competitive pricing and availability.
With a team of certified engineers and a commitment to compliance, Walker Fire is a trusted partner for thousands of clients across the UK.
