Viva has a vacancy.

Thanks to a series of new client wins already in 2023, we’ve got a job vacancy here at Viva.
It’s an opportunity to join our award-winning team as an account exec.

We are looking for someone with experience — you’ll either know your way around an agency or a newsroom (or both), with at least a couple of years on your CV.

A LITTLE BIT ABOUT US…
We’re based in Rawtenstall, but we operate a hybrid mix of office and home working.

Viva was named the north’s best small PR Agency by the CIPR in 2016, 2019 and 2021 and it was handed the 2022 CIPR Mark of Excellence in London.

We’ve also been named PRCA Workplace Champions in recognition of how we look after our people.

Our clients are a mix of engineering, aerospace, public sector, charities and health. It’s more than a job – it’s a way of thinking, a lifestyle, a family.

THE ROLE: ACCOUNT EXEC
Closing date for applications: Friday 17th March 2023
(Salary £24-£29k depending on experience)

Hybrid mix of office and home working – we’re based in Rawtenstall.

You will be expected to have both social and traditional media skills.

The role involves:

  • Copywriting (being a skilled wordsmith is a must)
  • Media Relations: Generating effective positive news coverage in broadcast, print and digital media, and placing spokespeople as commentators
  • Liaising with clients and the media daily, to build trusted working relationships
  • Proactively seeking opportunities by jumping on news events and trends
  • Working on media events
  • Contributing to creative campaign ideas
  • Creating content across key channels including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn
  • Canva and video editing skills preferred

Mental health support through Spill
£40 a month wellbeing allowance with Juno
Free yoga and bootcamp sessions every week
16 hours a year for volunteering
