Burnley based UVS, which specialises in video walls and visual displays, has developed a new alert which activates when colours change on screen.
The system was initially developed at the request of a New York financial institution who will use it to monitor stocks and currencies, which turn from green to red when they are dropping in value.
The technology could also be used by power stations and traffic monitor centres, and alerts can be visual and aural.
The system works with UVS' Lucidity video wall controller and control software and is aimed at clients who require a solution where full command and control components are not needed.
