Trostan Dene is delighted to welcome Hannah Douthwaite to the team, where she joins us as a recruitment resourcer supporting director Danielle Holly across our finance recruitment practice.
Hannah brings with her a strong commercial foundation, shaped by her experience as a business owner and more than ten years working in customer-facing roles.
Throughout her career, she has worked closely with senior decision-makers, developing a clear understanding of the importance of trust, discretion, and consistently delivering against commercial objectives.
This background allows her to engage confidently with both candidates and clients, building meaningful relationships based on professionalism and credibility.
Her hands-on involvement in financial decision-making has given Hannah a practical appreciation of the challenges faced by finance teams and business leaders.
She understands the pressures of balancing performance, accuracy, and strategic priorities, which strongly aligns with Trostan Dene’s consultative approach to recruitment.
This insight enables her to identify candidates not only with the right technical skills, but also with the commercial mindset needed to succeed in today’s finance functions.
In her role, Hannah will support Trostan Dene’s sourcing efforts across all divisions, playing a key role in identifying high-calibre talent and strengthening our candidate networks.
By combining detailed market research with a people-focused approach, she will help enhance the service we deliver to our clients and ensure we continue to meet their evolving recruitment needs.
Hannah’s appointment also allows us to further strengthen our specialist offering across the business.
As a result, our experienced senior recruitment partner Helen Montgomery will now be supporting director Colin Leach within our procurement, supply chain and operations specialism. This ensures continued senior-level focus, deep market expertise, and an exceptional service for both clients and candidates operating within this space.
We’re excited to have Hannah on board and look forward to the positive contribution she will make as she settles into the team.
