Training 2000 alumnus celebrates 20 years of service with employer

Ben Sumner, a former learner at Training 2000, has celebrated over 20 years working at Together housing stemming from a successful work placement.  
On completion of high school in 2000, Ben, who was unsure of his next steps, completed his first placement with Training 2000 in a bank before gaining experience with Together Housing, where he has now worked for over 20 years.  

Ben has gained experience in different areas of Together Housing, beginning with handling tenant queries whilst gaining a qualification in Business Administration. He got in touch with Training 2000 when reflecting on his career during the Christmas period.  

Ben Sumner, income officer at Together Housing said “In April this year I completed 20 years of service with my employer which commenced following a successful placement through Training 2000.   
I wanted to firstly say thank you and also to demonstrate to any young people who may be in doubt that success stories are out there should you put the time and effort into it!”
