Oliver Burton Forbes Solicitors

Together Housing Group, one of the largest housing associations in the North, has appointed Forbes Solicitors to its legal services framework.

Forbes, which has seven offices in Lancashire, will advise on legal issues surrounding housing management and litigation, property, employment and corporate, financial and commercial for the next four years.

The firm, which has acted for Together Housing and its predecessors for more than 25 years, was one of five successful bidders.

Oliver Burton, CEO of Forbes said: “Together Housing operates primarily in the Lancashire and Yorkshire areas where it owns and manages around 37,000 homes, and we are delighted to have been selected to work with them for the next four years.

“This is a testament to the experience and expertise in our housing team and to their reputation for providing an unrivalled service across a wide range of areas.”

We are delighted to have been selected to work with them.

Together Housing, which is based in Halifax but has offices in Lancashire, is a non-profit organisation, meaning any money it makes is invested back into the company for the benefit of residents and their local communities.

In addition to providing quality homes to rent, it also builds and manages homes for sale through the Shared Ownership scheme and provides sheltered accommodation and extra care schemes.

Through its charity, Newground Together, it funds a variety of voluntary and community projects, and groups to help improve life and opportunities to work for local people.
